Six civilians killed as Israeli aircraft wage raids on South Lebanon

 

Summary: At least six people were killed on Saturday, when Israeli warplanes waged air raids against a number of villages and towns in the South and the Western Bekaa valley.
Six civilians died in an Israeli raid on the town of Ain Arabs in the West Bekaa valley, a security source said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
An Israeli reconnaissance aircraft fired a rocket this afternoon at a pickup car carrying vegetables at the junction Gaza-Lucy in the Western Bekaa, injuring a citizen.
He added that another missile targeted a car carrying a load of potatoes on the main street in the town of Gaza in the Western Bekaa, wounding one citizen.
Israeli aircraft launched raids on the outskirts of Kafra, Cunene, Tibnin, Yatar in the South, while the Israeli artillery shelled outlying Ramiah, Beit Lif and Ayta Shaab, Wadi al-Saluqi, Frun, Bra'shit, Eitrun, around the town of Bint Jbeil, Sawwanah and the outskirts of the towns of Grey, Qana and Sidikin.
The Israeli bombardment targeted a house in the southern town of Taiba, resulting in the deaths of the victims, bodies of whom were still under the rubble.
The Israeli warplanes attacked at 3:00 p.m., on the River Qaqiah Bridge, as similar raids estimated at 10 were launched on the hill Hamams supervising the Israeli colony of al Matala.
The Litani River came under approximately four air raids as bombardment reached the plains of Al Khayam and Marjayoun, Izziyah, and Rub Thalathin in which a Lebanese woman died.
The Israeli Air Force launched a series of raids on the town of Nabatiyah and adjacent areas targeting residential buildings, causing destruction to one house and outbreak of several fires that were still ablaze.
More than 600 people were killed and 2,000 others injured since Israeli launched its attacks on Lebanon 18 days ago. THe Israeli aggression coerced the displacement of more than a million people.
